My short story “Anatomy of the Terrible” is featured in New Voices in Horror Volume 1, an anthology envisioned and put together by David “Doc” Byron and edited by Corey Scales. The anthology will boast quite a few great authors, including Joseph D’Lacey (author of Meat) and Simon Wood (author of Working Stiffs, Accidents Waiting to Happen, and Scrubs, which he wrote under the pseudonym Simon Janus). It promises to be a fun and frightening read.

As promised, here is a new writing prompt. Some of the strangeness that’s gone on in the news lately inspired this prompt.
“You are walking through the backwoods when you come across the body of a large, hairy creature that looks like a cross between a human and an ape. What do you do?”
With this prompt, you can be as serious or funny as you want.
