Writing Prompt (4-7-08)

“You arrive at the high rise just after sunset and discover that the mage you usually buy your tea from has left a note affixed to the door to his suite.  The strange note reads – Gone to Los Angeles, Back Soon. Don’t bother breaking in; the usual charms are in effect. Yet, you are positive that you can hear someone inside, and it sounds like whoever is in there is tearing the place apart. Are you going to check it out?”
